I opened her up and everything from the wiring and to the aesthetics was in the condition that I expected highly from Dell/Alieware. Some parts around the desktop were wrapped in protective plastic. The desktop had some dust spectacles (I am assuming the unit was sitting in Dell warehouse after being repaired for some time), but looked and smelled brand new. They were wrapped in a vacuum sealed plastic. Once the unit arrived in a big generic dell box (quite heavy) I was surprised how clean and like new the system was. I saw this excellent deal and priced all the parts out on NewEgg and came to the conclusion that I would save a few hundred dollars buying this rig versus building a new rig.
